Why should you even consider publishing a newsletter?

A: Your plate is not full enough, and besides, stress is good for your heart

B: Using more paper means fewer trees; fewer trees means fewer leaves to rake

C: Teachers have too much free time, and they really love it when the stack of papers exceeds the size of their mailbox

D: You can bind your newsletters together and use them as a portfolio when applying for your next job

Inquire, think critically, and gain knowledge

Draw conclusions, make informed decisions, apply knowledge to new situations, and create new knowledge

Share knowledge and participate ethically and productively as members of our democratic society

Let the community know what the library media center is doing to help students develop into 21st Century learners

Announce programs and events that promote reading and literacy
