Coaches provide comments oneach player and season statistics.That information is put on a ballot to whichNOW reporters add their own first-handimpressions of players.Each staff member then votes for the playershe feels should be on the team, rankingthem on a numerical scale. The player withthe most points is named the Player of theYear and the next nine players are alsonamed to the team.Those players receiving votes who do notmake the team earn high honorable mentionand those who are nominated but don'treceive votes earn honorable mention.
