Familiarise yourself and your child with what to expect on Orientation and First Day.
Talk about how they will get to and from school, where to meet you etc.
Dry runs on packing bags, uniform, transport etc
Who do I talk to if I or my child has a problem?
If you child rings you from school encourage them to speak to their homeroom teacher or to go to the general office for assistance.
First point of call at NHS is homeroom teacher either via email or phone. This differs from school to school.
Other people to help at NHS – YLPL, Head of Sub-School, Student Wellbeing, Principals and General Office.
