Learn good study habits, including organization and time management. Take college prep/AS classes. Aim for A’s and B’s, earning C’s at minimum. Freshman year counts!
10th
Aim for A’s and B’s, earning C’s or better. Continue to take CP and AS classes. Grades calculated in CSU/UC GPA.Take the PLAN test in October. Offered here at Cap.
11th
Take PSAT in the Fall. Offered here at CapTake SAT/ACT in the Spring.Enroll in one or more IB class.

Monitor your child’s study habits and use of free time
Encourage your child to participate in school activities, clubs, and sports
Consistently communicate with your child’s teachers and counselors
Participate in PTO, LPO, Music, Drama, Sports Boosters, Cap IB Boosters, SSC
