3D Animation Competition 2013

Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 installation Guide

1) Login http://www.autodesk.com/products/autodesk-3ds-max/free-trial, and select “English” as

Language, “Windows 64-bit”as Operating System, tick the box then click “Install Now”.

2) Choose “I Accept”, then “Install”

3) After download, click to start the installation process.

4) Click “Install”

5) Select “Hong Kong” as the Region and check the License and Service Agreement, then click “Next”.

6) Choose “Stand-Alone” for License Type and “I want to try this product for 30 days” for Product

information.

7) Select a location of your local computer for the download, then click “Install”.

8) After Installation, Click “Finish”.

9) Start 3ds Max 2013 and click “Activate” on the screen. You can also start using 3ds Max 2013 by

clicking “Try”.

10) Email the Request code to 3dac2013@summit.hk with email subject “3D Animation Competition”.

Please indicate your school name and your name.

NOTE: if not succeed for first time, repeat step 13 and 14.

11) On receiving the “activation code”, press “I have an activation code from Autodesk”, copy and

paste the activation code in the appropriate fields, and click Next.

Note：

1) On first installation, you can run for 30 days, so please apply activation code within 30 days of

installation.

2) The license will run until end of competition.

3) It may take one week for getting the activation code.
