Foreign� applicants� whose� parents� are� both� citizens� of� countries� other� than�
Republic� of� Korea� and� who� meet� the� following� requirements:
- Before� the� applicants� began� high� school,� the� applicants� and� their� parents� must�

extenuating� circumstances.� If� an� applicant� acquires� admission� through� copied� documents,�
he/she� must� submit� the� originals� to� Yeungnam� University� by� the� end� of� the� final�
registration� period.
2.� If� original� documents� are� in� foreign� languages� besides� Korean(or� English),� applicants� should�
submit� the� documents� with� their� notarized� translation� in� Korean� (or� in� English).� (E.g.� High�
School� Graduation� Certificate� (or� expected� graduation� certificate),� transcript,� family�
registration,� finance� verification� (certificate� of� employment� or� certificate� of� income)� �
3.� If� original� documents� are� translated� in� Korean� (or� in� English)� by� an� organization� other� than�
the� document� issuing� authority� or� a� translation� agency,� a� certificate� of� translation� should� be�
submitted.� (Refer� to� Form� 4� from� Korean� Immigration� Office.)
4.� Admitted� applicants� who� are� expecting� to� graduate,� must� submit� a� certificate� of� graduation�
to� the� International� Students� Services� Office� before� the� enrollment.
5.� All� academic� records� will� be� verified� by� the� admission� committee.� In� the� event� of� false�
information� being� provided,� admission� will� be� revoked.
6.� The� admission� committee� may� request� additional� documents� for� admission� review.
7.� It� is� the� responsibility� of� the� applicant� to� provide� documents� which� are� free� of� errors.� Once�
submitted,� the� information� cannot� be� changed.� At� any� point� in� time,� submitted� documents�
(and� their� translations)� which� are� found� to� contain� false� information� will� result� in� admission�
being� revoked.�
8.� If� the� applicant’s� name� differs� on� any� of� the� submitted� documents,� a� proof� of� identity�
issued� by� an� applicant’s� native-country� legislative� agency� must� be� submitted.
9.� Applicants� must� inform� the� International� Student� Services� Office� if� their� contact� information�
changes� during� the� admission� process.

6.� YU� TOPIK
� A.� Test� Introduction
� � -� YU� TOPIK� is� the� Korean� language� ability� test� administered� by� the� Korean� Language� Institute�
of� Yeungnam� University.
� � -� � Notification� of� the� result� :� Unlike� the� official� TOPIK� which� gives� a� level� grade,� the� YU� TOPIK�
is� graded� as� “pass”� or� “fail.”� Students� who� receive� a� “pass”� grade� will� meet� the� condition� of�
admission.
� � -� The� fee� for� taking� the� test� is� 40,000� KRW.� Students� who� have� not� received� at� least� a� TOPIK�
level� 2� grade� must� take� the YU TOPIK.
