This premiere sponsorship provides items offered in all sponsorship packages below Capstone (see chart) as well as:• 4 complimentary annual convention registrations• 3 full page, 4-color ads in The Alabama Municipal Journal (published bimonthly)• A 20% discount on additional ads in The Alabama Municipal Journal
The League is offering all 2016 exhibitors the opportunity to take part in a unique program designed to generate more traffic to participating vendors during convention tradeshow hours. Registration is limited to 22 vendors. How it works: Passport Prize cards listing the names and booth numbers of participating vendors will be distributed to convention delegates during registration. NOTE: Only registered convention delegates – mayors, councilmembers, municipal clerks and personnel – are eligible to participate in this prize program. (Spouses and guests are not eligible).
Participating vendors will receive a customized stamp for use on Passport Prize cards. Once the vendor has determined that the delegate has spent sufficient time speaking with him/her, the vendor will stamp the area on the delegate’s card that correlates with the vendor’s name and booth number.
Participating vendors will be listed in printed convention material and there will be a designated area in the Expo Hall for delegates to submit their stamped tickets for prize drawings. ALM staff will verify the eligibility of each submission. If the information is not complete, the card will not be accepted or entered into the drawing. Prizes will be drawn on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, during the Closing General Session. Delegates must be present to win.

General Convention Info:The 2016 Annual Convention of the Alabama League of Municipalities will be held in Huntsville, May 14-17. The Annual Convention is the League’s signature event, a four-day meeting bringing together more than 1,000 Alabama mayors, councilmembers, appointed municipal officials, municipal personnel and guests to share experiences and discuss current local, regional and national trends affecting their communities.
Exhibits will be open Sunday evening, May 15, with a reception in the Expo Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday, May 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with special meal event(s) planned in the Hall.
NOTE: Several sponsorship packages include complimentary convention registrations allowing your company’s attendees access to all conference events and meal functions. Additional registrations may be purchased by contacting Cindy Price at cindyp@alalm.org.
