What is the SME Instrument?
• Only grant programme whereby a SME can enter a project alone or with other SMEs
• Designed specifically to support innovative SME companies who have experienced difficulty securing funding due to the high risk nature of their products or services, i.e. unproven technology

• < 250 EMPLOYEES ,TURNOVER <€50M / BALANCE SHEET < €43m

• TECHNOLOGY READINESS LEVEL 6 i.e. Technology has been demonstrated in a relevant environment
