GIS Data Maintenance Steps for new feature creation

1. Scan as-built drawings for particular project i.e. BR15, Lsd 5, Sec 4.

2. Combine scanned images for editing to the JCWfile server.

3. Convert General Layout scan to a TIFF file type and import into GIS map to use as a base map for locating and placing new sewers.

4. Georeference and rectify the image• Place control points to match features between image

and GIS 5.Add new manholes and sewers

• Place sewers upstream to downstream

6. Populate new manhole and sewer attributes using Plan & Profile sheet (PP)
