Commentary• Tanger Boulevard was launched off-plan in 2007. The project, which attracted

significant support from central and local government, the Mayor and European retailers is now complete. Tangiers’ premier high-end development, it is the talk of the town, and of the burgeoning Moroccan middle-classes.

• Its success is due to a number of factors: a robust developer; high quality mixed residential / leisure / retail proposition; fabulous city centre, sea view location, proximity to the beach, and overlooking the old port, now being transformed into a luxury marina; very buoyant rental market.
