9. MAIN CONTRACTOR’S CONCLUSION

Overall progress achieved in Month of August 2015 has been satisfactory dueto the following reasons:-

1) Regression on Overall Physical Progress compared to previous month (+0.39 % compared to+2.98 % in July 2015 and +6.00 % in June 2015) – ahead by 2 days in overall activities and nolonger recording delays on critical path.

2) Regression in % ahead is due to the reduced manpower over Hari Raya Aidilfitri period (whichaffected the parapet installation works and kerb casting) and the requirement to completecurrent ongoing activities prior to commencement of the next milestone works i.e. Pavementworks on new bridge deck.

20

current ongoing activities prior to commencement of the next milestone works i.e. Pavementworks on new bridge deck.

3) We positively note that TNB Pylon Relocation Works were completed as scheduled, with zero (0)HSE related incidents and within approx. one (1) year from official communication with TNB on22 July 2015.

Areas of Improvement as commented by Consultants:-

1) Contractor advised to pay special attention to concrete finishes especially now that the worksare limited to parapet and kerb.

2) Defects Listing as part of Handover and LLM requirement for SKPL should be commenced assoon as practical and rectification works should be targeted to complete prior to completion ofnew bridge deck.
