National Museum of the American Indian

This building - with a remarkable high ceiling and a massive

colonnade around the perimeter - was built in the early 20th

century for the port customs office. Today, it is the National

Museum of the American Indian.

Special attention should be paid to the four statues at the

entrance of the museum. They represent four continents:
