REMOTE TERMINAL UNIT

The A200 AMI's homogeneously designed and developed Remote Terminal Unit, which formthe life line of SCADA solution. The SCADA software resides in A200 interface with the maincontrol center using various communication/ hardware protocols.

A200 is scalable, modular and configurable Remote terminal Unit used extensively for a widevariety of application in power, Transportation, Water etc. It is capable of monitoring bothdiscrete and analog data, communication and controlling remote system. A Non proprietary,open architecture system with high inbuilt security designed developed to work in unconditionalenvironment.

A200 is Rugged designed, Cost Effective. It is highly scalable to address the present and futureneeds. It is Redundant to power supply. It supports communication media using IEC 60870-5-101-104 DNP Modbus protocol.

AUTOMATIC METER READER

AMI Automatic Meter Reader (AMR) hardware is designed with micro controller andGSM/GPRS micro-controller module. AMI-AMR supports reading of energy meter parameterson RS 232 /RS485/serial port using MODBUS protocol and also support IR Port. Several Energymeters can be multi-dropped if they are at one place and can be connected to AMI-droppedAMR. The AMI-AMR Sends the Energy meter data through GSM/GPRS communication to theMeter Data management server.Automated Meter Reader (AMR) is one of the proven processes of reading meter data fromvarious energy meters, be it HT / LT / DTC’s or even substation related meter data. There arevarious methods, system architecture and technology that can automate the technology processof meter data acquisition. The end desired result is a unique structure of meter data that can beused by the billing system irrespective of the make and model of the meter.
