  Many businesses use natural gas for heating and

manufacturing

  Natural gas prices can be volatile, especially

during the winter

  Utilities, such as PSE&G, charge variable,

market-based rates, for gas

  Volatile gas prices and winter price spikes can

subject businesses to significant risk

  AMERIgreen offers a fixed price for natural gas

supply to businesses

  When new businesses sign up for service with

AMERIgreen, we will donate funds to your

organization for the life of the contract

AMERIgreen v. Utility Rates

 •  PSE&G’s  gas  prices  averaged  $0.68  per  unit  (known  as  a  “therm”)  last  year,  with  a  high  rate  of  over  $0.81  per  therm      

•  AMERIgreen  offers  fixed  rates,  that  are  oWen  beXer  than  u4lity  rates,  to  eliminate  uncertain  energy  costs  and  winter  price  spikes  

•  There  are  no  costs  to  switch,  hidden  charges  or  changes  in  service  

•  Your  organiza4on  will  receive  dona4ons  from  AMERIgreen  when  customers  sign  up

  Identify businesses in your community that

use natural gas and receive natural gas bills

from PSE&G, New Jersey Natural Gas or

ConEdison

  Business can be small, such as a dry cleaner,

medium like a restaurant or large, like a

factory or apartment building

  Provide an information sheet on

AMERIgreen’s program to the business

  If the business is interested, complete the

provided intake form

  AMERIgreen will contact the business and

take it from there

 

The Intake Form

The intake form that we provide takes

only minutes to complete and requires

information that can be easily found on

a utility bill. In lieu of completing the

form, a recent utility bill may simply be

attached.

 

How will this program help us raise funds?

  Once a business is referred by your

organization, AMERIgreen will provide the

business with a written proposal for natural

gas supply at a fixed price

  If the organization signs a contract with

AMERIgreen, your organization will receive

a donation of $0.02 per therm of natural gas

consumption for the life of the contract

  The business continues to receive the same

bill from PSE&G and deal with PSE&G for

any issues – the only change is the price of

the gas!

  A typical restaurant uses about 20,000 –

25,000 therms of natural gas per year –

that would raise $400 - $500 for your

organization

  Finding just 10 business like this would

raise about $4,000 - $5,000 per year!

this supporting your organization

  You can contact businesses through your

organization’s members, email,

advertisement or any of your typical

fundraising channels - we can even

provide you with a link for your web site

 

The Proposal

We provide prospective customers with

a customized proposal for natural gas

service that includes a chart and graph

of gas usage based on their historical

usage and a variety of pricing options

and terms to suit the customer’s

needs. If the customer accepts the

proposal, we provide them with a

contract and upon execution of the

contract their future usage will

generate funds for your organization.
