Dear Team and Family,

This week was our last full week with our students. It was awesome to see students from all grades participate in end of year field lessons at Knott’s Berry Farm, San Francisco, San Diego, and Camp Whittle. Thank you for your continued support and dedication in working with your student.

Early Dismissal at 1:00 PM 6/8-6/18 We will be having early dismissal at 1:00PM starting on Monday, June 8th- Thursday, June 18th.

Please note, that the After School Program will continue, per usual.

KAO ASES EOY ShowcaseASP showcase for K1 will take place at KAO Hall on June 17th from 9:00-10:30am.

5 th Grade Culmination Our 5th grade culmination will take place at K1 on Thursday, June 18th from 8:30-9:30am. Tickets required for culmination entrance.

All 5th grade students must be dropped off at K1 between 7:45-8:15am.

8th Grade Culmination

Our culmination will take place at Serra High’s gymnasium on Friday, June 19th from 11:30-1pm. A reminder that seating is on a first come, first serve basis. In order to accommodate seating, we kindly ask that families limit the amount of guests to 4 individuals.

All 8th grade students must be dropped off at the gymnasium between 10:30-10:45am

MOKA: Museum of KIPP ArtKIPP LA will be hosting MOKA (Museum of KIPP Art) on Wednesday, June 17th, an annual celebration of the arts at KIPP LA Schools and a silent auction of student artwork. KIPP LA students have free admission. KIPP LA family ticket is $20. Tickets are available at kippla.org/MOKA.

Arrival and DismissalPlease ensure that you are following our arrival/dismissal procedures when going through our valet service.

K1: Cars enter through 70th and Arlington –

this helps our traffic flow. Cars do not block driveway – this helps

ensure our students are safe and traffic continues to flow properly.

K2: Cars must have the placard with

students name on the dashboard – this helps the speed of valet service.
