A Vivid Technology Learning Experience
LAULIMA- Laulima is so convenient and helpful. We are able to turn in assignments, gather notes or syllabi, and even communicate with our classmates and teachers through discussion boards!
HAITI EARTHQUAKE- With out the convenience of television, internet, and radio, we would have never known about this catastrophic disaster that happened to the small country of Haiti.
A Technology I Want to Use in My Classroom
LAPTOPS- A lot of the students at the private school I work at have their own laptops, but I hope by the time I have my own classroom, each child will have their own laptop, at least to borrow.
ELMO PROJECTORS- In grade school, I always I wanted to use an overhead projector, so now that there are ELMO projectors, I’m even more excited to use one.
My Vision of the Classroom of the FutureI hope that technology will go 3-Dimensional so that the children are able to freely manipulate things
that are not native to the environment they
are in.
A Challenge for Teaching
It is not easy to understand how to fully function a computer, and just like reading or math, everyone is on different levels of technological literacy. In that case, as teachers we need to constantly keep up with new technologies so that we are able to teach it to our children and assist them.
“The most beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you.”
