Brothers, First, I want to wish everyone and your families a safe and Happy New year. I want to thank everyone who came to the Joel Ribler Shrine Club December 30th for the Masters and Wardens and the GMOV. I realize it close to the Holidays and most could not attend, but those that were there, we had a great time with the Brothers and we raised over $2000. For the Grand masters charity and the First Lady’s project. I appreciate R:.W:. Glen Bishop The Junior Grand Warden installing the Masters and Wardens officers and conducting the meeting for the Grand master. As we start the new year and all the installations coming up please remember to wear your masks and social distance, wash or sanitizer your hands regularly. As always please remember the Grand Masters message,
Communication, Accountability, Unity. Communicate with your Brothers. Hold each other Accountable. And stay Unified as a Lodge and as a District.
In closing, I hope to see you all very soon, stay safe and take care of your families. Fraternally R:.W:. Carlos “Chuck “ Hernandez District Deputy Grand Master 26th Masonic District Cell: (786)200-4561

JANUARY MEETING WEDNESDAY January 27th, 2021 — North Broward Lodge No 404
Time 7:30 PM - Memorial Lodge meets at 7:00 PM Future Meetings
February -- 24th 2021 @ North Star No. 405 March -- 31st 2021 @ Dori Lodge No. 140
Warm greetings my Brothers.
First and foremost, I hope this bulletin finds you and your family healthy and having enjoyed the holiday season.
I would like to sincerely thank you for your confidence in electing me as President of our District’s Masters and Wardens Association – I am honored and humbled. Serving the Craft is something (as you know) I really put my heart and soul into.
The Masters and Wardens’ Officers and I have already been planning for the 2021 year and will be proposing some changes – so be sure to stay tuned! With that being said I’d also like to congratulate our new Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Chaplain – W: Eran Erez, WM: Jon Macedon, WM: Michael Waymire and W: Sydney King, respectively – I look forward to continuing our great relationships. I would also like to thank our Past President, W: Ed Keating, for his leadership and dedication. He was/is always willing to provide guidance, knowledge, his time and a good laugh to myself and the rest of the Officers… thank you, my Brother.
My Brothers, the 2020 year has been a memorable one… and forgettable on many accounts. We as Masons must maintain our wits, professionalism and understanding in order to remain a beacon, a true north star, for society while continuing to practice the Tenets of Freemasonry.
Should you have any questions, comments and/or recommendations for our Association, please feel free to contact me – my door is always open and my cell is always on.
In closing, thank you again for this opportunity. I wish you and your family a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. May the Great Architect of the Universe continue to shine Light on all mankind and may G-d bless all the men and women in our armed forces, our first responders and the United States of America!
Fraternally,
W:. Matt Goldstein, PM District 26 Masters and Wardens, President
Purpose of Masters & Wardens Association from by-laws:
“8.01 Purpose.-The purpose and objective of this organization is to foster Masonic fellowship, and brotherly love among the members, encourage active participation in programs and projects sponsored or approved by the Grand Lodge and or any Particular Lodge or Lodges approved by the Grand Lodge.(1984)”
"I WISH YOU"
I wish you first to love,
and that loving, also be loved.
And, if not, be brief in forgetting
and that after forgetting, don't hold grudges.
I wish, therefore, that it is not so, but that if it is,
You know how to be without despair.
I wish you also have friends,
and that, even bad and inconsequential
Be brave and faithful, and at least
there is one to trust without hesitation.
And because life is like that,
I wish you also to have enemies.
Neither many nor few, to the exact extent,
so that sometimes you wonder
Your own certainties. And that among them,
there is at least one that is fair,
So you don't feel too safe.
I wish you also to be useful,
More not irreplaceable.
And that in bad times,
when there is nothing left,
that utility is enough
To keep you up
Likewise, I wish you to be tolerant,
not with those who make little mistakes,
because that's easy, but with those who
they are very wrong and hopelessly
and that making good use of that tolerance,
serve as an example to others.
I wish you, being young, not mature too quickly,
and that already mature, do not insist on rejuvenating,
and that being old do not dedicate yourself to despair.
Because every age has its pleasure
and your pain and you need to leave
Let them flow between us.
I wish you by the way that you are sad.
Not every year, but just one day.
But on that day you discover
That daily laughter is good, that laughter
usual is bland and constant laughter is unhealthy.
I wish you to discover,
with maximum urgency, above
and despite everything, they exist,
and that surround you, oppressed beings,
treated with injustice and unhappy people.
I wish you to pet a dog,
feed a bird and hear a goldfinch
to win his morning song triumphant,
why in this way,
You will feel good for nothing.
I also want you to plant a seed,
however tiny, and the
accompany your growth,
for you to discover how many lives
A tree is made.
I wish you also have money,
because it is necessary to be practical,
And that at least once
per year put some of that money
in front of you and say: "This is mine."
just to make it clear
Who owns who.
I wish you also that none
of your affections die, but what if
die some, you can cry
Without regretting and suffering
without feeling guilty.
I wish you finally that, being a man,
have a good woman, and that being
Woman, have a good man,
tomorrow and the next day, and when
are exhausted and smiling,
Talk about love to restart.
If all these things happen,
I have nothing more to wish you.

Greetings Brethren,
Well, another year is behind us and 2021 could not have come sooner! This pandemic has impacted each of us in one way or another, as well as our fraternity at large. For those of you who were inclined to err on the side of caution and stay home, I look forward to better days when we will be back on track to resume our labors in the usual manner and all of us are comfortable to return to lodge once again.
One good thing about a New Year is that it brings new beginnings, and opportunities. Any adversity we may have faced this past year, provides a lesson and an understanding, so we can move forward with our lives. There is opportunity for each Mason to serve as a beacon of light to uplift each other, and to represent our fraternity honorably, within our communities.
As we learned in the FC degree, Abundance culminates the wages of true workmen. Let us continue to labor, and build up our ancient and honorable fraternity, which has made such a positive impact on our ourselves, our families, and communities. To all the incoming Worshipful Masters and officers in District 26, I wish for you and your respected lodges, a year filled with unity, success, and good health among the Brethren. May the G.A.O.T.U. bless each of you and your families. Happy New Year! Fraternally,
W Jon Macedon W.M.

Happy 2021 my Brothers. Another year begins and we all recharge our hopes and set up goals to improve ourselves or make something in our lives in a different way. What pleases me most is that we all, somehow, think of ways to improve and grow. Hope is the word of order. Without hope, life loses its meaning, without hope, a man loses purpose, without hope, a person makes bad decisions. 2021 is definitely a year of hope and it is my hope that you all succeed, I thank all brothers for doing their best and help our Lodge to improve and therefore improving themselves. We pass through challenges and difficulties indeed, but what matters most is that we passed and we are now moving on and with our hopes recharged. May the blessings of heavens rest upon all of us. Please keep in mind our EA degree on Jan 14th and our Installation on January 30th. Fraternally W:. Rafael Faro W.M.

Of Being of Service
As we learned in the EA degree, when we make a demand for a mineral or metal substance from the newly obligated Brother, we know in our hearts that we will not get anything in return. We are told that this is to impress upon our minds that Grand Masonic lesson of charity.
But, what exactly is the point that we need to inculcate in our minds and hearts? Is it to give, to help, to assist or to receive something in return?
The principle of being charitable, goes hand in hand with the action of being of service. In order to be of service we need to align ourselves with our moral and spiritual values. We need to move into action after we have clearly made the principle of being of service part of our consciousness. Once we realize that being of service is a noble and honorable action for the service of humanity, and that the act of giving is not expected to be reciprocated or noted by others, our souls will gain a great deal. Will be receiving a lot of positive influxes that in the long run will be more rewarding to us.
The Hindus refer to this as Nishkama Karma that is, perform your duties without expecting anything in return.
With devotion to the work we do, and to be of service to others, we can make a positive difference in the lives of many.
In essence to be a Freemason, we need to be of service to others. Not to receive personal accolades, not to be expecting to receive anything in return but, to benefit humanity as a whole.

Greetings my Brethren, Welcome to 2021...Let me first say that I am humbled and honored to be in the East this year. We made it thru 2020 without too many bumps and bruises, I hope. I know it was rough, but I am looking forward to things getting back to some sort of normal. I look forward to a great year and sharing the brotherhood that our fraternity was formed upon. If you haven’t been to Lodge in a while, I hope you can take some time to visit soon. Our next stated meeting will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM with dinner tentatively scheduled for 6:30PM. See You Soon Brothers,
W Mike Connell, WM. “As we continue to improve ourselves in Masonry, we are indeed improving life. We know from history that without ideals to guide us, the garden of a man's life will not grow into a place of beauty.” - Stanley F. Maxwell

Brethren, On behalf of the Officers and members of North Broward Lodge, I wish to welcome you to this month’s Master’s & Wardens Association meeting. I also want to extend our congratulations to all of the newly Elected and Appointed Officers of the Lodges in the 26th District. We look forward to working with all of you and your Lodge to keep our District as the best in the state. My thanks to everyone who participated in the hotdog roast and toy drive last month. It was an overwhelming success and I’m sure the children at Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital had a great holiday because of all of you. My thanks also to the Widow’s Sons for allowing us to be a part of it. May the new year be safe, happy, healthy, and prosperous for all of you and your families. May the Great Architect bless all of you, our front-line responders, and the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces.
W Cristian Valois, WM.

Fall is upon us! October was a busy month for the Rainbow girls! This past month the girls have been able to attend a virtual tea party and meetings hosted by the leadership council! At the tea party the girls heard from members of the National Association of Women in Construction who taught them some amazing tips on leadership. They have also been attending the monthly Fairy Forums, hosted by the spectacular leadership council. The girls get to play games and talk to their sisters from other assemblies. We hope you have a wonderful beginning of the holiday season, Rainbow sends you our best wishes! We're still having our monthly meetings over Zoom. If you have any daughters, granddaughters, or nieces, ages 11-20, feel free to contact Mom Eli at 786-484-5827 or [email protected]. Hope to see everyone soon, stay safe! Make sure you check out and like the Florida Rainbow Facebook Page! Facebook@FLIORG. Look for the video. It was created by a Hollywood girl and many of our current Hollywood girls are featured.
