Eleanor Savage Jerome Foundation Minneapolis, MN Lisa Eleanor Savage is a civic-minded media artist, activist, and Senior Program Officer at the Jerome Foundation, an independent foundation that supports emerging artists in the creation and development of new work. She previously was the Associate Director of Event and Media Production at the Walker Art Center for 16 years. Savage has instigated many community-focused/artist-centered events in Minnesota. Savage has a life-long commitment toward promoting human rights as a guiding force. She has 20 years of experience organizing multi-disciplinary, multi-generational, multi-community art events around social and racial justice values. Her work in non-profit arts is consistently framed by advocacy for social justice and a belief in the power of art to bridge understanding across cultural differences.

Shey Rivera Ríos AS220 Providence, RI Lisa Shey Rivera Ríos is the Artistic Director at AS220, an internationally renowned arts center in Providence, RI, and a multi-genre artist. Their work at AS220 focuses on the role of art and culture as a catalyst for social change through community engagement, cross-sector partnerships, and urban planning. Rivera is an active member of the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (NALAC) and the Alliance of Artist Communities. Part of the founding team of Festival de la Palabra (2010), the largest literature festival in Puerto Rico. Rivera completed a BA with double major in Psychology and Sociology in the University of Puerto Rico and coursework in the graduate program for Contemporary Media and Culture in the University of the Sacred Heart, San Juan, Puerto Rico.Rivera enacts a civic role within the realms of art/culture and community/urban development in Providence. They serve on Congressman Jim Langevin’s Art & Culture Advisory Committee, Providence Downtown Improvement District Board,Providence Downtown Design Review Committee, Providence Public Art Committee, Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy’s Advisory Committee, and Providence Cultural Equity Initiative’s Cultural Think Tank. Former board member of Sophia Academy and Girls Rock! RI. Rivera has also served on multidisciplinary grant panels for the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA), Doris Duke Foundation, National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (NALAC), and Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA). Theyhave spoken at AAC's annual conference and EPI workshops, and the January 2018 board meeting.

Kibra Yohannes AFRICA'SOUT! New York, NY Melissa Levin Kibra A Yohannes has 15 years of experience leading media, arts and education organizations using art and innovation for social change. As Director of AFRICA’SOUT!, Kibra continues her commitment to creating new cultural spaces and influencing the direction our society moves. Before joining AFRICA’SOUT! Kibra was the Director of the School of Continuing Studies at Long Island University, where managed and designed children’s and accredited adult education programs for more than 1,000 students annually. Previously she served as Director of Operations and Director of Programs, respectively, at Arts Engine, Inc a film production company producing social-issue documentaries of consequence, and programs such as the Media That Matters Film Festival, MediaRights and Filmmaker Services. Kibra holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Virginia and is a candidate for a Master’s in Social Science, with a Graduate Certificate in United Nations System from Long Island University.

Kemi Ilesanmi The Laundromat Project New York, NY Craig Kemi Ilesanmi is inspired by the immense possibilities for joy and positive change at the intersection of arts, activism and community. She is currently the Executive Director of The Laundromat Project, a community-based arts organization that strives to improve and expand the quality of lives in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods of color across greater New York City by bringing art & artists into their neighborhood coin-ops.Prior to joining The LP, she was Director of Grants and Services at Creative Capital Foundation where she supported the work of adventurous American artists making new work. From 1998-2004, she was a visual arts curator at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. While there, she organized several exhibitions, including The Squared Circle: Boxing in Contemporary Art, and ran the visual arts residency program. Melissa Levin Sergio Muñoz Sarmiento is an arts lawyer and scholar interested in the relationship between art & law, with a focus on tangible and intangible property, appropriation, contractual agreements, authorship, freedom of expression, and outlaw culture. He received his BA in Art from the University of Texas-El Paso, an MFA in Art from the California Institute of the Arts, and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.He has lectured and taught on art law matters in a wide range of institutions, including Harvard University, Cornell Law School, Yale Law School, Yale School of Architecture, Columbia Law School, NYU School of Law, and Brown University. His art projects have been exhibited nationally and internationally and has attended sebera; residencies as an artist.From 2006 to 2012, Sarmiento was Director of Education and Associate Director for Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in New York City. In 2010, Sarmiento founded the Art & Law Program, a New York-based seminar/colloquium with a philosophical focus on the effects of law on cultural production and reception. He currently maintains a private art law practice and teaches art at the School of Visual Arts and art law at Fordham Law School. He lives in New York City and Austin, Texas and serves on the board of Denniston Hill Artist Residency.

Ryan N. Dennis joined Project Row Houses as the Public Art Director in October 2012. Prior to moving back to Houston she worked at the Museum for African Art as the traveling exhibition manager, working on exhibitions which included but not limited to El Anatsui: When I Last Wrote to You about Africa, Dynasty and Divinity: Ife Art in Ancient Nigeria, and Jane Alexander: Surveys (from the Cape of Good Hope). She received her master’s in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute where her research focused on the role of the artists as the administrator and cultural producer through residencies, and collaborative programming. Prior to moving to New York City, Ryan worked as a community organizer and a curatorial assistant at The Menil Collection in Houston, TX.

InvestmentGuidelinesTheinvestmentgoalsoftheInvestmentFundaretwofold:preservationofcapitalandmodestincome.Giventhedefinitionofthisfund,thereisnoneedforcashorcash-equivalentinvestments.Specifictargetsforassetallocationare:
1. Fixedincome(bonds) 40-70%2. Equities(stocks) 30-60%
Allinvestmentsshouldbeinmarketablesecurities(easilyboughtandsoldonapublicexchange)toprovideshort-termliquidityasneeded.Allinvestmentsshouldbeinbroadmarketorindexfunds.Considerationshouldbegiventofundswithlowfeesandexpenses.Noinvestmentsinindividualsecuritiesshallbeallowed.
AnnualDisbursementforOperatingIncomeEachyear,aportionoftheInvestmentFundmaybeearmarkedforinclusionintheALLIANCE’sannualbudget.ThespecificamountshallberecommendedbytheFinanceCommitteeaspartofthepreparationofthebudget.Theamountthatmaybewithdrawnforinclusionintheannualbudgetshallbenomorethan4%ofthe3-yearaveragevalueoftheInvestmentFundasofDecember31stforeachofthepreceding3years.Careandconsiderationshouldbetakensothatthisannualdisbursement:
1. isrelativelystablefromyear-to-yeartoreducevolatilitytotheannualbudgetingprocess2. isbalancedwiththeneedtouseinvestmentproceedsandgrowthtoincreasetheInvestmentFunditself
