Classic Way who races in the colours or Bold Eagle owner Pierre Pillarski, was the winner of the Group III Prix Joseph Aveline for 4YOs. Driven by Eric Raffin for Se- bastien Guarato, Classic Way was up handy early as Cap- tain Sparrow towed the field up the hill with Concerto du Ruel moving up to sit parked.
