Transformed Loves...Transforming the World
After hours of practice in preparation for Wednesday’s chapel, our beloved teachers and staff surprised our MCS community with a flash mob dance, kicking off what was yet to be another exciting chapel. From the dynamic beat of the drumline to the beautiful music of our students, it certainly was a time of good ole’ American patriotism. It was a fun-filled event that reminded us of how blessed we are to live in America, and to have confidence knowing that God is watching over America. There was also a time of reflection, a moment to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for this great nation, and to pray for those who continue to serve our country. God Bless America and all of you!

54TH ANNUAL POWAY DAYS PARADE! A successful event on Saturday! Our HS Worship Team and Instrumental Band wowed the audience with their music and voices. The crowds who lined the street of Poway Road waved and cheered as the MCS float that carried our students passed by. It was visibly clear – all generations loved hearing our students perform!We are so proud of our students and Mr. Holguin for a wonderful performance in this year’s event. It is always a pleasure when we can showcase the talents of our students.

Mrs. Quinn’s 8B History class practicing the Kagen structure: Stand up, Hand up, Pair up for our Chapter 2 history test. The students enjoy interacting with each other and reviewing history at the same time!
Bible 7 students study the life of Christ through the Gospel of John. This gospel teaches us that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and through believing we have life. Our students study the words and works of Jesus as He transforms our lives as we aim to transform the world!

HANDS ON LEARNING WITH ARTIt’s all about the process! What do you get when you take finger-paint that comes in a multitude of colors and some paper? You get happy students who enjoy smearing paint by using their hands as a paintbrush and creating a work of art! Exploring different types of art materials and seeing what happens is all a part of the Preschool experience.

Varsity Football Upcoming
Varsity football continues their winning streak against Southwest SD, 49-14. Logan Godwin running down the field in perfect form! The running back-linebacker leads the team with 72 carries and 490 rushing yards and all seven of the team’s rushing touchdowns. Godwin also tops the defense with 35 tackles. He opened the score-board in the beginning of the game running in for a touchdown and the lead.
