DESCRIPTION

UX designers like to grumble: "There are not enough usability tests", "my client thinks they know best", "the visual designer interpreted my design wrong, yet again". I want to put an end to your misery and share my experience to improve your UX skills: UX design is, in fact, all about continually reacting as the project develops. Your role is to make the best possible initial assumptions and then listen to the users. UX is functional design. It does not matter what colour or how big the buttons are. The important thing is whether they should be there in the first place. Be prepared to stand your ground. Make sure that your client knows that the project is important to you, too. But be flexible! You won’t always be right.

Starting smallStart small. If you are not sure how to do something, do it the simplest way

UX is not UIUX is functional design. It does not matter what colour or how big the buttons are. The important thing is whether they should be there in the first place.

Be meanBe prepared to stand your ground. Make sure that your client knows that the project is important to you, too. But be flexible! You won’t always be right.
