NEWSLETTER ALKIMOS BAPTIST COLLEGE
Dear Parents, Students, Families and Friends,
Welcome back to Term 3. What an incredible Term 2 we had. Annie was amazing! Reports and exams are completed for Semester 1 and 20 students finished the semester by going on a Ski Trip to Jindabyne New South Wales.
But the activities don’t stop there. Our Secondary Students are gearing up for Kulture on Friday 12
th of August. They would love to
invite all the families of Alkimos Baptist College to come and be apart of this amazing event. Our Primary School is busy preparing for Book Week next week, Night of the notables in a few weeks time and the Zoo sleep over at the end of the term. Along with a few Athletics Carnivals, Duathlon, Science Week, History week and Mathematics Week,. This term is set to be just as busy and enjoyable as the last.
Over the break I had a great chance to reflect on Alkimos Baptist College and who we are as a community. Our College does some amazing work with the students in our care. Our caring, nurturing environment allow students the opportunity to feel at home when they are here. Our numbers allow for our students the opportunity to be involved in activities and events that may be denied to them at other schools. Our teachers bring out the best in our students. It is a place that I value and love to come to work at each day.
I believe that God is in control of our College and actively working to bring out the best of all our students, teachers and families. Thank you for your continued support and drive to make Alkimos Baptist College the best place it can be.
Your Sincerely
Kieran Graham
