CAREER OBJECTIVE_______________________________________________________________________CNC lathe/mill MACHINIST & Electrical Instrumentation Technician

PROFILE & CERTIFICATIONS_________________________________________________________ Perform to the best of my ability by improving safety and boost machine productivity.

Troubleshoot programs accurately and edit accordingly to maintain operating efficiency. Gulf Coast NCCER Certified Instrumentation Technician. NCCER Certified Core Safety credentials. TDLR Licensed Apprentice Electrician. TWIC Card

Proven abilities in a wide range of technical skills, including:▪Blueprint reading ▪Troubleshoot Process Variables ▪Double Turret Lathes ▪Calibrate Rosemont Differential Pressure Transmitter▪Horizontal/Vertical mills 5axis. ▪475 HART Field Communicator, Fluke process simulator▪Quality Control ▪Logic and Ladder Diagram Reading▪Set-ups ▪Start/Stop motor control with variable Frequency drive. ▪Editing and Programming ▪Relay, Contactor, and Logic Electrical Circuits▪Instrument Fitter ▪P&ID Diagram Layout Reading

EXPERIENCE______________________________________________________________________R.B Machine Works Houston, TX. Feb.2011 - October.2015CNC Lathe / CNC Mill Lead

Doosan 400(L) First class Machinist on Lathe, with live tooling- Fanuc control. Hitachi Seiki 50 series lathe – Seiki control.

HAAS VF50 Horizontal Mill 36x36 table. DOOSAN PUMA VT5 vertical mill Fanuc control. TOSHIBA 60 x 72 table Horizontal mill- Tosnuc 777 control… Cut various alloys from Inconel, Delchrome, and Stellite, Stainless etc. R.B is a contracted machine shop for FMC Technologies.

Gained valuable knowledge and experience at RB Machine. Maintain plant machinery and equipment. I would run both lathes and mills to take a raw piece of material and finish the part complete to print.

I would perform advance repairs such as alignments, adjustments on CNC equipment, and diagnosis of all repairs and how to approach them.

I would train incoming lower level machinist and techs on machining, proper tooling selection, and preventative safety/maintenance.

RIG-UP Electrical Channelview, TX . Nov.2008-Feb.2011Apprentice Electrician

Run Cable trays, Pull and run wires through MCC rooms, Run Conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools

Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals. Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using

hand tools Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches

TAM International. Houston, TXAugust 06 - September 08CNC Mill Machinist

Mori Seiki NH5000 4thaxis HMC. Double Pallet, 50 tool station. V-Block, Press Vice, and Fixture work set-ups with many different pieces. Many of these set-ups

were used with both pallets working on two separate phases of the job by using sub-programs and G-codes. Every set-up had multiple set locations for each tool, with very close tolerance-(.0/-.001)

TAM produced a wide variety of inflatable packers used in the oil and gas industry. The company was very busy and so O.T was necessary often working 12hr. shifts. Also was the effort to be a team player with the other machinist in the shop, putting together everyone’s experience to get the job done.

Very diverse shop with many different metals; cast iron, stainless steel, high temp, etc. All types of tooling from fly wheels, gun-drills, ceramics, carbide, and high speed. Gained much knowledge on feeds and speeds, tool pressure etc.

Learned a lot of the oil and gas industry through training classes held by TAM. Participated in classes on GD&T, ISO 9001 – 2000 certification held by TAM. Part of the Safety

Committee at TAM. Used many different tools/machines for measuring angles, radius’, tapers. CMM, Comparators,

X-Ray visionary machines, etc. State of the art quality control area with new equipment.

General Plastics & Composites Houston, TX .May 2004-July 2006CNC Mill Machinist

Ran 2 mills at one time- HAAS & Leadwell 4th and 5th axis vertical milling centers. Fast paced and fast learning environment with lots quality, and production everyday coming out of every machine. Multiple Set-Ups on both machines to complete separate phases of the part at one time.

80% of company products were specifically built for Halliburton energy services. Company produced a very hard fiberglass material used for drilling oil and gas which Halliburton used on a consistent basis.

Components and Composite products would vary in tolerance. +0.001/-.005. Would work long hours. From 5a.m. – 5p.m. mon. - sat.; therefore I learned a

lot from machinist who had 20+ years’ experience - and who were very good people who didn’t mind sharing their knowledge with me…it made me better.

Liftmoore Cranes Inc. Houston TX.February 2003 – March 2004CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist

Operated a 4-axis Cincinnati Milacron and Mori Seiki SL–400 Lathe, and on a daily basis would use drill press, manual lathe, Over-head crane, and forklift to transfer completed work from station to station.

Mill work on big flat thick sheets of metal that were assembled to make hydraulic cranes. Lathe work would consist of mostly tube shaped parts, drill & tap, windows, etc.

Machine Shop atmosphere- maintenance and punctuality were a very big part of the daily routine.
