Alape brings more than 100 years of manufacturing experience to the creation

of each piece of bathroom design. Since pioneering glassed steel enamelling

for basins in the 1920s, Alape have gone on to become a world leader in the

development of this technology. Every basin in the Alape line is pressed

individually from a seamless sheet of steel before being fi red with a rich glass

enamel glazing known as Ceramostahl. This advanced composite material delivers a

STEPThe traditional basin is revolutionised with the introduction of the

elegant and innovative Step. The geometric form of this distinctive

basin features a stepped area on one side where the basin’s depth has

been split into two levels. The raised tap area becomes as a functional

shelf for wet area accessories.
