In a build up to the new national congress of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), the Board of Trustees of NYCN called a Management meeting which was held in Abuja on September 24, 2014. The meeting which was coordinated by the BOT Chairman, Chief Ma-kole Omo Azugbene, was attended by Thirty Two (32) State Chapters and Fifty one (51) member Organizations; Sadr sahib and Bro. Ishaq Popoola represented the MKAN. The meeting examined the crises facing the national leadership of NYCN and provided the necessary supports in order to restore the National Youth Council to its pride of place. In a Communique issued at the end of the meeting, which was signed by the BOT Chairman and Hon. Agharase Idugbor (Former NYCN President), the NYCN National Management Meeting resolved as follows: 1. That we accept dissolution of all existing leadership by the Courts, and disassociate from whoever is parading as President and Executive Members of the youth council. 2. That no person, group, organization, state chapter or law firm has the authority of the Board of Trustees to litigate on its behalf on any matter concerning the leadership of the council. 3. That all matters pending in court in the name of the Incorporated Trustees of the National youth Council of Nigeria are hereby withdrawn, including the two appeals filed against suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/272/2013. 4. That in view of the inability of the Congress Planning Committee (CPC) and Electoral Com-mittee (ELECO) to discharge the verdict of the federal High Court Abuja, owing to circum-stances beyond their control, and in line with relevant Sections of the Constitution of the Youth Council, set up a 7- Man Congress Planning Committee and 7-Man Electoral Commit-tee, one from Geo-Political zone and a representative from the Federal Ministry of Youth De-velopment to, within 90 days, conduct a free fair credible election to produce a new National Executive Council.

OGUN ILAQA HOSTS SADR SAHIB

In continuation of his courtesy visits, the Sadr Sahib was at the monthly meeting of Ogun Ilaqa which was held in Abeokuta, from September 13 to 14, 2014. While at the Meeting, Sadr sahib used the opportunity of his visit to brief the

MKAN members on the recent updates and the proposed programmes and projects of MKAN. His addresses focused on MKAN participation in NYCN activities, Atfal pro-grammes, faith matters, effective use of social media platforms, Ebola Virus Diseases (EVD) and its lessons. While speaking on the Ebola Virus Diseases and its lessons, he noted that, “One of the greatest lessons of the EVD is the ability to quickly offer interventions to neighbours’ prob-lems. if Nigerians, and particularly the government, had quickly intervened initially when the virus broke out in some neighbouring West Africa countries, it might have helped the victims and reduce the risk of experiencing it here in Nigeria.” He advised members to pray fervently for Nigeria and other countries experiencing this danger. Likewise, members should always assist people at the urgent point of need and not when it is late. More so, he rejoiced with the MKAN Ogun Ilaqa who is currently MKAN’s Best Ilaqa for the year 2014, and encouraged the state officials to do more this year if the state wishes to retain the flag. Participants at the meeting were allowed to ask the Sadr Sadr different questions bothering on their minds in which he answered satisfactorily. The Sadr Sahib was accompanied to the state Meeting by Bro. Oriolowo Murtada (Muhtamin Ishaat), Bro. Idris Jamiu A. (Motamad Mulk 1), Bro. Idowu Sodiq (Add Motamad Mulk), Bro. MTO Amode (Muhtamin khidmat khaliq) and Bro. Oladiti Taofeek (Add Muh. Ta'lim).

OSOGBO MUQAMI ADDS MORE MOSQUES AS FOUNDATION LAYING AND DECKING HELD

Osogbo Muqami has added four additional mosques in its locality, totaling seven with the support and donation of some members as three mosques are underway to make it ten. Recently at Osogbo Jama’at, Almighty Allah (SWT) has been blessing it with more mosque construction develop-ments. The Jama’at had, hitherto, for many years only three mosque buildings. But lately, Allah (SWT) has been using some members for this greatly rewarded sacrifice as they donate more mosques for the Jama’at at various locations in the metropolis. This development has therefore increased the mosque number from three to seven including four con-gregational mosques. As at the time of this report, three additional mosques are underway and shall soon further make AMJ Osogbo mosques ten. Significantly, foundation laying event of one of the three mosques underway held on Saturday, 18th Octo-ber, 2014 at Kelebe Area, Osogbo. This mosque work is intended to be built by a khadim, Bro Qasim Oyinlola on a

vacant land situated at his own house. The event was con-ducted by the Jama’at President, Alh A.G. Akere, the Cir-cuit Missionary, Alh A.G. Oladipupo, Missionary Atikullah Akeugberu, the donor and Bro Maruf Omolaoye. Incidentally later the same day, another call came from the Circuit Missionary at instance of Alh H.O. Sumonu for mosque deck concreting labour work against next morning Sunday, 19th October, 2014. This mosque work has reached deck milestone and is solely built by the former AMJ Nigeria Amir, an indigene of Osogbo, Osun State. He had wanted Jama’at members had share out of the re-wards and so he called for Waqar-e-Amal. In true spirit of Waqar-e-Amal and selfless work, members trooped out in spite of absence of some Ansarullah and Khuddam who on that weekend attended their respective Shoora at Ojokoro, Lagos. Despite being an impromtu call, 18 Khuddam, 11 Ansarullah, 15 Lajna and 4 Nasra mem-bers worked on the mosque deck filling.
