Student Identifier and Student Basic files
Term files Annual files (Financial Aid, Program
Award, Assessment) Employee files All files are tab-delimited Available one business day after
request is submitted
It is strongly recommended that you ‘Save’ the file to your own computer, rather than
‘Open’ from the Website.
You will be prompted to select the directory on your local machine where you want to save the .zip files. Also, if you prefer, you can rename the .zip archive at this time. The
default archive name is the date the archive was created (mm-dd-yy) followed by the MIS
term identifier (yyt).
When you double-click your saved .zip archive, it will automatically open with whatever zip
utility you have installed on your local computer. If you then double-click one of the text files, it will open with whatever .txt utility
you have installed on your local computer.
When you download your .zip archive, it is also suggested that you download the most recent readme.xls file. This file will provide file and field definitions for the .txt files shown in the
previous slide.
The record description
from the readme.xls
file.

The Student Identifier file provides the cross-reference key between the District’s Student ID and the CCCC Assigned ID.
All files created by the new Referential processing will include CCCC Assigned ID.
Consequently, a change in the District’s ID will only need to be changed in CCCC ID file in order to correlate to the same student throughout all CCCC other files.
