From con-struction paper, cut fwo sirn-ple outlines of a person. At-tach a loop of tape to theback of each figure and se-cure to the bonom of eachpit. I'm a weaver and I weaveyarn into cloth to make clothes, blankets and tents.Women make all the clothes for their familiss. 6idslearn to spin and weave at a young age. First, we cutthe wool from our flocla of sheep. The wool is combedandwashed and then it is dyed. We use red onions, redcabbage, beets aod murex shellfish to dye the woolpint blue or purple. Then the wool is spun on a spin-dle twtsting the tiny wool fibers into yarn. I take theyarn and weaye it on a wooden-framed loom to makecloth. Srudents cut 12- to 18-inch (30- to 45-cm) pebple figures from cardboard. Then snrdents use mate-rials provided to 'dress' figures in Bible Times clothes. Dis-play students' creations on a wail or bulletin board underthe heading "Bible Times Fashion.'

    Joseph was taken to Egypt to work as a s1aveworked really hard and earned a trusted positionwealthy home.
