（1）Established outpatient procedure for patients with fever▼Consultation procedure① If you have a fever, consult your regular medical facility ② If necessary, you will be given the contact for the dedicated hotline for feverish patients. Please visit the clinic after making an appointment via phone. ※The fever clinic will not be conducting PCR testing.▼Applicable to;People with fever living, working, or studying in Aizuwakamatsu City, high school age and above. ▼OpenMonday ~ Friday weekly, 13:00-15:00※ Recept ion is open f rom 10:00-15:30. Last appointment of the day is 14:30.

（2）”New Lifestyle”: Staying safe and preventing heatstroke●If you ventilate a room with air conditioning turned on, the room temperature will rise. Be aware of the temperature and adjust your air conditioning accordingly.●If you are outside and can maintain a minimum distance of 2m from others, remove your mask. If you are wearing a mask, avoid strenuous work or movement. If you are indoors or talking to others, wear a mask even if you have no symptoms.●The humidity when wearing a face mask makes it diffi cult to recognise when you are thirsty. Even if you don’t think you need to, drink water regularly. ●Check your temperature and general health daily. If you feel at all unwell, please rest and consult a doctor if necessary.

From June 1, all school from preschool to junior high level restarted completely. I am very pleased to see the children studying hard at school, and to see the buildings fi lled with the childrens’ smiling faces and laughter once more. During the school closures, I know they persevered through their worries and looked out for their health, and continued their studies at home. I would like to thank all of the parents and caregivers who continually supported them and guided them in their new lifestyles at home. With the reopening, there will be many changes to school life and classes based on the new healthcare manual for the prevention of COVID-19, “New school lifestyle”. There may be many unfamiliar practices, but we will continue to do these things in order to lower the risk of infection, to protect the children and their learning environment. At schools, all of our teaching staff are proceeding with education, intent on helping the children in front of them “a little more, a little better from day to day”. If you have any troubles or concerns moving forwards, whatever the issue, please consult your schools or the city. We are working hard to ensure that the children can adapt to this new lifestyle, and continue working towards their bright futures. To all the parents and caregivers, and all of our citizens, thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.

① Aizu Bar Stamp Rally A digital stamp rally using the social networking service LINE.

・How it works1.Using the QR code on the left, or the QR code displayed in participating stores to add the official “Aizu Bar Stamp Rally” ( 会津酒場スタンプラリー ) account as a friend. ※Reading the code using your phone camera will automatically add the account to your friend list.

2.If you spend ¥3000+ on food or drink at a participating store, you gain 1 point per person.※If 3 people spend ¥6000, only two people can receive a point.

3.If you get a point from 3 different stores, you will receive a ¥3000 discount coupon and a lottery entry notifi cation via LINE.

4.Once you have used your coupon, you have completed one set of the rally, and may participate again.

▼WARNING… ◎ Please make sure you get points from 3 different stores in order to receive a coupon. If you use the stamp rally coupon to pay for your meal, you will not receive a point. However, if you use unrelated coupons or tickets, you can receive a point. Once you have completed one set of the rally, you may return to shops previously visited to earn new points.

Industry tourism includes things like tours of factories and industrial heritage, crafts and local history. We’d like to introduce you to a few of these places here.

This issue’s tourism spot is “Suehiro Sake Brewery, Kae-igura”.

Suehiro Sake Brewery, Kae-igura, is known not just for being a brewery, but also for being a place where for generations, brewers have passed down the traditions of Aizu sake culture. You can take home a little of the spring water that bubbles up inside the grounds for free. The inventor of the “yamahai” production method, Mr. Kagi Kin-ichiro, used the Suehiro Brewery, Kae-igura, for test brewing in the Taisho era. Sake prepared using this traditional method of preparation has the characteristic that the fl avour changes depending on the temperature, and remains the signature product of this brewery.
