For more than three decades, AIT Extension has worked to address the challenges faced by the international community by promoting economic development and rule of law. Nearly 25,000 individuals from more than 70 countries and territories have attended training programs at AIT Extension, Bangkok, Thailand and in various countries around the world. EligibilityParHcipants in AIT Extension training coursesareusually mid‐career and senior level professionalswithat leastfiveyears’relevantworkexperience.ParHcipantsnormallyhaveauniversitydegree,workexperience,andagoodcommandofEnglishlanguage.

TrainingCostsThe training feecoverstuiHon,materials, airport transfers, transportaHon costs for scheduled field trips, andminormedical expenses.Thefollowing personalexpenses shouldbeadded:a suggestedsubsistenceallowanceUS$40/day,accommodaHon at the AIT Conference Center at US$43 per night per room (Thai Baht 1,450 equivalent), andinternaHonaltravel.

FinancialSupportAITExtensiondoesnotprovidefinancialassistance,andcannotseeksupportforindividualparHcipants.Applicantsareencouraged to seek funding support from their organizaHons, or from other sources. If applicants meet entryrequirements,alederofacceptancecanbeprovidedforpurposesofseekingfinancialsupport.
