Thanks to a modern and essential designed vertical frame, you can position this product in every civil and industrial location, of medium and big surface. In spite of the airflow of 1600 mc/h, the unit is not very noisy, because of its internal insulation and the dimensioning of the fan section.

We guarantee the maximum duration of HEPA-13 filters, thanks to three filtration degrees.

AIRFIX unit includes:

A reusable and double containment mesh COARSE pre-filter on air suction side, at the bottom of the unit, so to hold dirt and dust

An ePM1 filter having low pressure drops and a wide filtering surface, used as cleanroom air pre-filtration

A HEPA 13 (or HEPA 14, as an option) positioned before the fan section. Its filtration degree ≥99,97%, combined to the UV lamps (as an option) grants an air optimal purification.

AIRFIX is designed to stop impurities in the air such as VIRUSES, BACTERIA, and ALLERGENS alike, however there are precautions that can be taken to optimi-ze the reduction percentage and the time required to make each environment healthy.

VIRUSES: to effectively eliminate viruses, the fan potentiometer must be positioned at minimum power, thus allowing UV-C lamps to neutralize pathogens of this type with less air changes.

The data indicated refer to laboratory tests carried out in an environment of 250 m³.

BACTERIA: bacterial loads are effectively eliminated by UV-C lamps and partially retained in the fil-ters present in the unit. To optimize times and effectiveness it is recommended to placethe fan potentiometer halfway.

POLLEN AND ALLERGENS: These organisms with a larger volume than the previous categories of pathogens are effectively trapped in the unit’s certified filters. The power of the fan doesn’t compro-mise effectiveness, therefore to optimize the cleaning time of the environment it is possible to use the fan at maximum power, thus favoring more air changes in a shorter time.

The technology knowed as photocatalytic oxidation was developed and used in the aero-space field for sanitation for space exploration envirorment, where the first prerogative is quality and healthiness of the air. This oxidizing action reproduces a natural process called photocatalysis, which thanks to the combined action UV rays from the sun, humidity in the air and some noble metals present in nature, destroys most of the toxic and polluting sub-stances.

The active sanitation module exploits the combined action of the rays of a special UV lamp with a metal alloy catalyst structure, mainly composed of TiO (titanium dioxide) and other noble metals in smaller quantities. Metals in contact with UV rays set off to the photocatalytic reaction, producing hydroxyl radicals and minimal quantities of hydrogen peroxide.The flow of air that invests the active element ensures the diffusion into the environment of the radicals produced, which attack and eliminate pathogens and impurities in the air.

This photochemical reaction therefore allows to eliminate pollutants with a natural active components, so viruses and molds, thanks to the hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide), generated by the photocatalytic reaction in minimal quantities (max. 0.02 PPM) has a very high efficacy in the destruction of the microbial charge, in the air and on surfaces both.
