CYCLONE SPRAY CHAMBER

• These scrubbers combine a cyclone with a spray nozzle.

• The added centrifugal force permits good separation of the droplets, hence a smaller droplets size can be used.

• Cyclone spray chambers provide up to 95% removal of particles >5 micron.

ORIFICE SCRUBBERS• This scrubbers are similar to venturi

scrubbers in that the gas stream flows at high velocity through a narrow section.

• The gas moves through pools of scrubbing liquid at high speeds before enter the orifice.

• For exits, droplets and pollutants are removed through impingements on a series of baffles.
