All the candidates answer this section. This section shouldn´t be more than 4 pages

1. Why have you decided to apply to be MC of AIESEC Kenya? What will be your contribution to

the organization and what do you expect to learn?

2. Do a SWOT of the current situation of AIESEC Kenya. Give the 3 strengths and weaknesses of

the MC 12-13 AIESEC Kenya. What should be the key focuses/initiatives that your MC could

drive for the year 2013-2014 in order to move AIESEC Kenya forward, considering the current

state?

3. What do you think that have to be the next steps of the organization towards AIESEC 2015?

How will you as MC ensure that we engage any young person in Kenya?

4. What will happen if in the middle of your MC year, AIESEC Kenya doesn´t have finances to

pay salaries or any expense of the national budget? Which will be your solutions? Will it

affect a lot in your results or motivation?

contribute as MC AIESEC Kenya to improve the cooperation and growth as region? What

VICE PRESIDENT ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT

1. Analyze the current state of the Team Member and Team Leader Programs and highlight the

successes to build upon and the areas to improve upon in the next term. Use the Business Model

Canvas to show how you envision the TMP and TLP in 2013/14.

Secondly, what new membership models do you think AIESEC Kenya should implement to boost

our TMP/TLP Delivery?

2. Analyze all the LCs in AIESEC Kenya and cluster them into three clusters using criteria of your

choice. Design an LC development strategies for each cluster

3. Pick 3 elements of the Learning Environment that you believe to be least implemented in AIESEC

Kenya and explain how you would ensure they are implemented fully across all LCs.

4. Explain how you think the role of LCD should support the LCs to ensure each LC is financial

sustainable in the long term while ensuring the delivery of operational results on a daily basis.

5. Highlight the 5 key things that you would like to see at the end of your term in June 2014 as MCVP OD.

VICE PRESIDENT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PR

1. Create a SWOT for this portfolio according to AIESEC Kenya reality and identify 3 key

things you would like to see by the end of your term.

2. Please explain how this portfolio will support AIESEC Kenya in its achievement of growth

in each of the 4 ELD Programmes: TMP, TLP, GCDP and GIP.

3. What initiatives/strategies can we use to ensure maximum brand dominance in Kenya by

AIESEC Kenya? Come up with a communication plan for the same. How you will manage

the presence of AIESEC Kenya in mass media (What is your media plan?) Is this a

priority?

4. How will you ensure a steady stream of revenue being injected into the MC operations to sustain

them throughout the term? Develop initiatives as well as strategies to implement them.

5. What are the main trends in Kenya currently that we should be capitalizing on in the Business

Development and events sector of AIESEC Kenya and what would be your first steps to do so?

We hope to revolutionize all AIESEC Kenya's events. Identify new events for the whole year,

create a time plan delivery structure for each and lastly, briefly explain why that event at each

time of the year you allocate.

6. Please do segmentation of the current market in Kenya and list a minimum of 10 companies per

segment while at the same time creating products for each of these segments.

3. What do you think is the role of the MCVP Communications in driving performance and quality of

ELD Programs? How will you do this during your term?

4. What is the current state of Knowledge Management in AIESEC Kenya? How will you improve

the current Knowledge Management processes in AIESEC Kenya?

VICE PRESIDENT INCOMING GCDP

1. Please identify your three (3) mc-driven key strategies as MCVP GCDP to boost the GCDP

growth (within a year in national and local levels and also give a proposal of your National

Support Team Structure that will deliver growth ICX GCDP at national level.

2. Assess Kenya’s environment and society realities. Based on these, please suggest one (1)

National project for AIESEC Kenya 13/14 which encompasses the following points:

A. External relevance

B. Main purpose/suggested activities/tangible & intangible goals

C. Gantt chart

d. Funding opportunities

3. Come up with strategies to ensure the GCDP is sustainable for LCs to run without costs being

transferred to potential interns coming to Kenya for the Programs.

4. Establish how quality standards can be upheld for GCDP in AIESEC Kenya especially

considering the quality issues that have been present this year.

Please analyze the performance of the Kuleana Program? Is it a worthwhile program? What

needs to be done to revive it?

5. LCs outside Nairobi have relatively low numbers in ICX GCDP. Does this mean that there are no

Community Development opportunities in these areas? Please come up with a strategy for each

of these LCs and how they can grow their GCDP numbers.

VICE PRESIDENT OUTGOING EXCHANGE

1. How can we increase the value proposition and volume of our Outgoing Global Community

Development Program? Please be clear, innovative and concrete with your strategies and

initiatives.

2. What is your proposal to increase the average level of LCs results in Kenya for O GCDP? Please

3. AIESEC in Kenya is ambitioning to grow more than ever before in the next term. How can O

GCDP achieve such growth while improving the relevance of the experiences we offer and the
