The Gandhi Gruh Gujarati School has had a busy couple of months. In August, the children took part in India’s Independence Day celebrations, performing prathana and a dance item. The older students took part by researching the significance of Independence and developing a slideshow which resulted in them displaying their work at the Mela on the 19th of August 2012.
The student’s from the school took part in Maha Purushotum Prasad on Sunday 16th of September.
The school enjoyed a wonderful time with students and their fathers in celebrating father’s day. The younger children performed Pitha Puja and the event was well attended by father’s and families.

who would like to seek success, inspiration and motivation in their day today’s life. In his words:
Success -What does it really take to succeed –whether in business or life in general? Why do so few people

PROFILE - Mikal Neilsen As a personal coach for development, Mikal utilises his wealth of knowledge, to help individuals discover and
reach their potential. Known for his experience in running popular corporate seminars, as well as one on one
coaching with entrepreneurs, individuals and couples, Mikal’s seminars are always entertaining and results
driven and his coaching and key note speaking also receives rave reviews.
The true value of Mikal's coaching is essentially two-fold:
1. Getting really clear on want you want with your life (and business) and then helping you to achieve it.
2. Awaken to who you truly are as a human being and thus creating more inner stillness, a sense of inner peace
and a very strong sense of purpose and fulfillment.
We don’t need Time Management, we need Life Management.
The Key to Success - What is it that successful people have in abundance?
Personal Relationships - Why are they so vital to us and our business life?
See you all in big number to get benefit from the various Speckers. After inception of Business Committee under Auckland Indian Association in the last year and having organised three successful business forums, this committee again met on 11th July 2012 for considering immediate forum on franchising to organize on 8th August 2012 and plan for couple of forums during the remaining period of 2012.
Objective of this Business Committee is to bring Indian business members of the Auckland Indian Association on one plat form to discuss their common matters and help each other by sharing the resources, assisting needy business people, raising one voice to the government and non government agencies of their concerns etc. Indian business members working in this country are facing many health problems. This could be possible by working long hours in dairies, small businesses and self employed etc. It is high time to fix such issues by fact finding research through Business Committee under Auckland Indian Association.
It is estimated that more than fifty percent of the members of the Auckland Indian Association are in the business of trading, commerce & industry as well as managing offices to support businesses. But very few business members are showing interest in supporting or joining Business Committee. This committee is earnest-ly appealing to all business members of the Auckland Indian Association to join and attend Business Committee meetings & forums that are being organised regularly.
Current business environment is changing due to modern technology application and considering world as a global village. Many universities and business institutes are aiming towards teaching smart way of doing busi-ness in the modern world. It is appropriate time for the Business Committee to look for smart Indian business students studying in any tertiary level institutes in Auckland and invite for the business forums conducted by the Business Committee of the Auckland Indian Association. It will be worth hearing new ideas from our youngsters.
Next Business Committee meeting will be held on 11th July 2012
Next Business Forum will be held on 8th August 2012
Similarly Business Committee meeting will be held on alternative months on 2nd Wednesday of September (i.e. 12 Sept 2012), November (14th Nov 2012)
Business Forums will be held on alternative months on 2nd Wednesday of October (i.e. 10 Oct 2012), December (12 Dec 2012).
