Checking the piping materials as per codes and process standard specifications. Responsible for preparation of NDT Inspection procedures like UT, MT, PT, PMI & Hardness Testing etc. Carrying out WQT, WPS, PQR as per ASME Sec IX Controlling the filler wires and electrodes as per ASME Sec. II part C and WPS. Inspection of shop fabrication of piping spools and supports. Joint fit-up inspection and welding inspection of C.S, S.S, Copper, Alloy steels, dissimilar metals etc. and maintaining daily reports. Visual inspection of completed welds & notifying to Third Party for NDE as per Design Requirement and preparing Punch list after installation. Line checking and clearing the punch items before the pressure test on completed pipelines. Monitoring of tie-in / special crossing / repair welding, hot-tap activities as above. Monitoring of pipe stringing activities to ensure correct support and coating protection. Monitoring post weld heat treatment activities (PWHT) Monitoring of pipe bending activities. Ensuring response to necessary construction documentation, including but not limited to review of shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals. Coordinate with the site QC manager for the completion of as-built turnover documentation Preparation of Hydro test packages as per PID, Isometric drawings, hydrostatic drawings and all related documents.
