Aasem Khalil Investment Banking Dallas asem is co-head of Latin America, head of the Investment Banking Division (IBD) in Latin America and head of IBD for the Southern region in the United States. He also serves as global co-head of chemicals and agriculture. Aasem is a diversity champion for IBD and a member of the Americas Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Previously, he was a member of the Equity Capital Markets Group, where he focused on the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked financings, including initial public offerings, follow-on transactions, block trades and convertibles. Aasem joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 as an analyst on the Mortgage-Backed Trading desk and was named managing director in 2008 and partner in 2016. Aasem serves on the Board of Trustees of Kenyon College, the President's Advisory Board of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the Board of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Board of the Dallas Regional Chamber and the Board of the Dallas Stars Ownership Advisory Group. Aasem earned a BA in Political Science, with distinction from Kenyon College in 1996. A
