Job Title: Instrument & Control Engineer

Project: MIDOR Refinery Alexandria Responsibility:

i. Follow up Instrument Maintenance Program corrective & defective for Global

Maintenance Program.

ii. Follow up all field Instrument Level, Flow ,Temperature, Pressure Transmitters &

Indicators , Control Valves & all attachment equipments , Safety Valves , Switches,

Multiplexers ,Planned & Un-Planned Maintenance in the Production units.

iii. Make Calibration tests of the Planed & Un-Planed instrumentation Valves,

Sensors and Transmitters.

iv. Review work orders and determine maintenance and repairs priorities in

consultation with related sections. Prepare detailed work programs of

preventive maintenance schedules for instrument, in conjunction with the

other sections and the other plant areas.

v. Lucky to be in the team of the SAT of MIDOR DCS Modernization project

with Honeywell vendors and made most of I/O’s functional test and loop

check.

vi. Maintenance and solving the problems For the control systems hardware &

software:-

PLC Siemens Sematic S7, Good handling with different modular CPU’s, I/O

cards and the communication between systems through the different paths

(Profibus, MPI).
