Many thousands of enterprises pay to dispose of

Biomass and other waste materials generated by

    their own operations.

They also pay for electricity and natural or propane

gas or diesel fuel oil to produce heat and hot water

and to power and heat (or cool) their businesses.

Many are looking for an affordable way to comply

with environmental laws that regulate the disposal of

    their waste materials.

Many want on-site Energy Security, Reliability

    Resilience and Self-Controlled Operation.

Their primary (lower) extended combustion chamber provideslonger dwell time to completely and cleanly combust the fuel andenable compliance with EU requirements.

Their high temperature extended (upper) combustion chambercleanly and efficiently combusts volatile chemicals. Reducespollution and enables plywood (glue) and painted and creosotetreated wood to be used as fuel.

They can operate from 2,200F down to 1,000F which is below thechemical reaction point of many troublesome emission materials.

They use a unique over-, under- and mid-fire air design thatprovides greater flexibili ty to cleanly combust a wide variety of wet,

dry and mixed fuels.Minimal residual ash (1 - 3%); automated stoking and ash removal.

Their proven software enables maximum operating flexibility, continuous System optimization and constant emissionscompliance.

We use several Waste Heat Generators (WHGs) obtained from

Best of Breed suppliers (P&W, GE) and contract manufacturers

that are selected for our customers specific requirements.

Some high temperature WHGs operate at 600F instead of at 200F

for greater heat, hot water and steam outputs.

Some of our WHGs use a high efficiency hot oil system instead of

a low efficiency hot air system.

These WHGs will produce considerably more net electrical output

and greater customer value in high temperature, high humidity

locations which is where most Biomass is produced (e.g., output ofabout 120 kW vs. about 70 kW).

The WHGs flexible design enables them to be operated in parallel

so we can offer our customers customized Systems with from one

    up to six WHGs.

    Emission Control Flexibil ity

The basic combustion chamber comes with a multi-clone

air filter that catches most fly ash.

A baghouse filter can be added to catch very small flyash particles and will satisfy virtually all federal and local

    permitting requirements (PM2.5).

FOR HIGH VALUE OPPORTUNITY FUELS (GLUE, PAINT,

    CREOSOTE, ETC.):

A urea or lime spray system can be added to neutralizeproblem emission materials.

A catalytic converter can be added to neutralize very

    difficult emission materials.

Using Biomass as a fuel helps to combat climate change. Thats becauseBiomass is often considered carbon neutral because the carbon dioxidereleased when it is combusted is eventually absorbed by other Biomass as itgrows. So, unlike natural gas or fuel oil , Biomass releases no net carbon dioxideinto the atmosphere. It is a closed-loop energy source, simply re-circulating thecarbon dioxide already within the Earths carbon cycle. And its a perpetual, renewable fuel source.

    Combusting Biomass Is Carbon Neutral
