ordinatOR of PIT,LODGA) , Mr CHAVAN sir(PRINCIPLE OF PIT ,

    LODAGA).

We are deeply indebted and grateful to them for their guidance,

encouragement and deep concern for our project. Without critical evaluation

and suggestions at every stage of the project, this project could never have

    reached its present form.

We would especially like to thank our guide MR PAWAR K.V

    ABSTRACT

In this post abstract of the project for college management system is

given. Along with full explanation of the project college management system.

There are many departments of administration for the maintenance of college

information and student databases in any institution.

All these departments provide various records regarding students. Most

of these track records need to maintain information about the students. This

information could be the general details like student name, address,

performance, attendance etc or specific information related to departments likecollection of data.

All the modules in college administration are interdependent. They are

maintained manually. So they need to be automated and centralized as,

Information from one module will be needed by other modules.

This project is useful for easy user interface. The system utilizes the powerful

database management, data retrieval and data manipulation. This project

provides more ease for managing the data than manually maintaining in the

    documents.

The project is useful for saving valuable time and reduces the huge paper work

admission, fees, utility. After the click on either admission or fees admission

or fees page gets displayed. After the selection of particular menu will display

and after click on save the information about student will be save in data base.

If administrator need to edit & save student information detail for

future use he can save the information details in database. Or just he can see

the records for student information or simply Logout.

The Administrator is responsible and authorized to fill up the data into

the database, Update the data accordingly as well as managing the student

detail. The data filled by administrator during registration will be entered into

the database by the utility provided.

    2. Product Overview and Summary

    2.1 Purpose:

Admission management system is a project designed to fulfill the requirement

of phoenix institute of technology .The admissions of various students were

maintained manually. The administration requires a project for the automation of

maintenance of student admission. For that purpose we designed a project to

maintain students information details with the help pc computers

    .

    2.2 Scope:

    2.4 Overview:

Admission Management Module administers the admission procedure.

As the entire procedure is very time consuming, admission module is developed

to ease the process and reduce the heaps of paper work.

This module keeps all information about students at fingertips that include

Students can be admitted with the help of a dynamic admission form. The

templates of forms can be created by authorized persons. It can also be created

for sub modules like hostel admission, canteen registration, etc.

    Features of Admission Management Module

    1.Dynamic application form

2.Record maintaining of applications and successful registrations

3.Connection with Examination Module for next year admissions

Promoting/demoting to students from different courses with user defined

    criteria

This is a stand alone application that permits us to approach the entire

knowledge regarding the college, student admission, fees structure etc. This

application is also called as institute admission management system. It offers an

actual trip of the college campus. Here we would gain the recent knowledge

regarding the students admission and his fees. This general application plannedfor aiding the students of an organization about details on the various fee

collection, segregation of fees , consolidation of fees and back up maintains

with all security measures for the data as well as generation of required reports

    separately or consolidatly .

The main problem projected is that students particulars are reported manually

in distinct records, which is a laborious job. Handling and updating these

records manually increase the chances of mistakes. It takes a lot of time and

needs many employees to accomplish the task. It even lacks security and

disability to produce various types of reports.

In order to solve these problems, a new system has been created, that attempts

to operate the whole procedure considering the database integration approach.

Several controls help the application to be friendly to the users.

The entire project maintenance is made simpler and more adaptable.

Internet access is deliberately denial on account of very security and

privacy majors which will protect the data to be hacked, pirated or d

corrupted. During the process of project progression, there is no chance of data

    mishandling.

It offers great degree of security employing various protocols.
