AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FURTHER THE DEADLINE FOR THE FILING OF BUSINESS

LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION FROM JANUARY 31 2016 PER ORDINANCE NO. 13029-2016 TO

MARCH 31 2016 AND FOR THIS PURPOSE NO SURCHARGES AND PENALTIES SHALL BE

COLLECTED FROM THE TAXPAYERS WHO WILL BE AVAILING HEREOF

Whereas, the issues raised by the coalition of Chamber of Commerce with respect to payment of business

taxes and fees have yet to be resolve, which include the collection of Environment Fee, Fire Safe Inspection Fee

and Garbage Fee and the full implementation of the 2015 Cagayan de Oro Revenue Code and status of payments

made under protest last year that are not in accordance with the 2015 Revenue Code, among others;

Whereas, during the meeting of the Committee on Finance and Appropriation, it was also found out that

there is a need to recompute the Taxdue Worksheet (tax billing) issued by the City Treasurers Office due to

incorrect computation of some of the fees imposed and to harmonize with the provisions of the citys Revenue

Code;

Whereas, it is only cogent to extend further the deadline for the filing of Business License Renewal

Application;

Now Therefore:

BE IT ORDAINEDby the City Council (Sangguniang Panlungsod)of the City of Cagayan de Oro in session

assembled that:

SECTION 1. - The deadline for the filing of Business License Renewal Application is hereby extended

further from January 31, 2016 per Ordinance No. 13029-2016 to March 31, 2016.

SECTION 2. - For this purpose, no surcharges and penalties shall be collected by the City Treasurer from

the taxpayers who will be filing their business license renewal application within the said period.

SECTION 3. - This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

SECTION 1. - The application of Communities (Cagayan) Inc., represented by Ms. Emelia N. Lustado,

Northmin Cluster Head, for Alteration of a portion of Frontiera Subdivision located at Barangay Lumbia, this

City, by resizing the lot area particularly Lot 49 Block 34 from 155 square meters to 110 square meters as

reflected in the approved subdivision plan, is hereby approved.

SECTION 2. - For this purpose Ordinance No. 7272-2000, Entitled: An Ordinance approving the

application of Communities (Cagayan), Inc., represented by Ms. Bernadette M. Maranga, for Development

Permit of Frontiera II (main) and La Brisa, located at Canitoan, this City; provided, that the access road

reflected in its subdivision plan shall be implemented, as amended by Ordinance No. 11829-2010, Entitled: An

Ordinance approving the application of Communities (Cagayan), Inc., represented by its General Manager

Emelia N. Lustado, for alteration of plan of Frontiera Subdivision located at Barangay Lumbia, this City,

specifically Block 43, Lot 50 with an area of 156 square metersis hereby further amended accordingly.
