And as I acknowledge the truth behind the quote, I step into the role of the educational leader of an institution which has great and noble foundation , an institution with a stable vision and a well chartered mission —

NEW HORIZON GURUKUL

School education is the longest education period in a child’s life. It is also the most formative and most challenging period, for students, teachers and parents alike .But if all the three work in unison , these formative years become the most cherished years .

Children are like seeds which grow into rm trees and bear sweet fruit only after lot of tender loving care . Each child is unique , blessed with unique set of skills and requires right direction at the right time to grow in the desired direction .

For a successful human being ,the correct proportion of the 3 C needs to be developed — Character, Competence and Content . Decit in any one or more C may delay the success desired.

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” - Aristotle

“Education is not preparation for life , it is life itself . So let us become positive, active participants in the life of our children and create an environment around them which will be conducive to learning .

Let us invest in their present to make their future.

Education is the key to changing lives and world perspectives. This new millennium is characterized by new technology, changing values and dierent life styles. New Horizon Gurukul reects the changing needs of the 21st century keeping in mind the unchanging core values of Indian society. In New Horizon Gurukul, we believe that the objective of primary education is not just to inform, but also to empower and transform. With this philosophy at its core, children make the transition from dependence to independence in a secure, stimulating and multi-cultural environment. Every child is encouraged to explore his or her budding skills within an exhilarating atmosphere that ignites the curiosity to explore and create. Well qualied and experienced teachers help unlock each child's hidden potential urging it to evolve into a life skill. In Gurukul, at the primary level, we strive to empower our students with skills and talents in a natural environment which provide the perfect setting for children to develop a love for learning and achieve academic excellence. As the tiny tot of Pre-Primary division graduates to Class I, the approach subtly changes; at the same time, a lot of care is taken to ensure that the joys of childhood are protected and preserved. Curriculum emphasizes on lateral thinking and development of inter-personal skills. Classes I to V oer the children varied activities.
