Program InformationCommercial Pilot Training

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in flight

training with Aero Academy.

This is a great time to start your pilot training. With the recession in the past and

scores of senior pilots on the verge of retirement, the airlines are beginning to

hire those who are qualified. Pilots who are training now, or will be starting their

training in the short term will be in a position to reap the benefits of this

situation. Pilots will be needed at all levels of the industry.

Our Professional Pilot Program has been designed to give you the training and

knowledge you require for a fast-paced career in the world of Aviation. The

Professional Pilot Program is a 6-7 months course for the full time student

covering both the Private and Commercial Licenses in the first year of training. It

is designed for the student with no experience; however this program can also

accommodate those already holding licenses.

Although London, Ontario Canada, does get some snow in winter months from

Jan - Apr of every year, it is considered to be the best time to fly, as the cold

weather provide for no cloud build up and thus clear skies. We may loose

between 10-12 days of no flying during these winter months, but over all

London gets more then 300 - 330 days out of 365 days per year of good

weather.

Please ask us for details.

(Please note that the same professional training is available for part time

students as well, but not as part of this program)

1. Applicants for the Professional Pilot Program must be

at least eighteen years of age (or turn eighteen within

six months of starting the program) and have a Grade

12 diploma or equivalent.

2. A Transport Canada Category 1 Aviation Medical must

be obtained by each applicant. Training will not

commence until it has been received.

3. Aero Academy Inc. reserves the right to accept or

decline any application for training.
