Love God – Gather People – Let the Gospel Do Its Work

is the summer theme for the Compass Church as they navi-

gate through the challenges of locating a new venue following

the closing of The Basement. Additionally, the leadership team

has been thrust into an unexpected journey through the griev-

ing process. Jesus is good and faithful and He is gently leading

them through the storms and recovery. Together the prom-

ises God made to His children are being claimed. Together

the church is strong even when there are days of weakness.

Together they are continuing to be a beacon of light in the

Jonesboro community as they Love God – Gather People –

Let the Gospel Do Its Work. Compass will meet at Craig-

head Park – Pavillion #2 on Sunday, June

11th at 5 pm. It will meet again on June 25th

– location yet to be determined. Please

check https : / /www.facebook .com/

out the summer.

THANK YOUs

Dear Southwest Family, I want to personally thank

you for the bible and the senior reception. I have

been truly blessed to call Southwest home for the

past 18 years of my life. I appreciate all the sup-

port and love that has been shown to me and my

family. Sincerely, Lura Beth Dehm

Dear Southwest Family, Thank you so much for

loving us everyday, but especially during the loss

of our grandmother. The plant you sent was

such a kind surprise. With our love, Matt &

Courtney Hoffman and Family

On behalf of the Woodruff families, we want to

express our extreme gratitude to Southwest for

showing your strength and love in EVERY WAY

POSSIBLE during the sudden death of our pre-

cious little Andrew. You lifted us up when we

were crushed with grief! We want to especially

thank all the ladies who prepared the wonderful

food for our very large family. It has always been

a blessing to be a part of this body of believers! In

Him for Eternity, Steve & Linda Woodruff

(grandparents)
