TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OFFER AND ENROLMENT

1. ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION OF OFFER

You are required to fill in the on-line reply and biodata forms at the following web-

site.

Failing which this offer of admission will automatically be revoked. In case of need,

you can contact the University’s Officers through the followings:

2. FEES AND CHARGES FOR “PROGRAM PENSISWAZAHAN GURU (PPG)”

Please be informed that; fees and charges for all new students of PPG are subject to

the Term and Condition as stated in the “BORANG PERJANJIAN PEMBIAYAAN

PENDIDIKAN GURU”(*)

However for the purpose of registration; you are only required to pay a total of

RM200.00 (as stated in the Offer Letter). Payment can be made by means of:

a. Money order, bank draft or cheque and should be made payable to

”Finance Director International Islamic University Malaysia”

b. Bank in directly into the University’s account at any Bank Muamalat Malaysia

Berhad branches at the following account number:

1407-0000005-71-9

All students are required to bring along related receipts / documents / copy of bank-

in slip as proof of your payment on the Enrolment Day. If there is no submission, it is

assumed no payment has been made.

Note : (*) will be distributed on Enrolment Day

3. REGISTRATION

Please read carefully before filling in any forms. Please note that a late registration fee

of RM5.00 for each late day will be imposed if you register later than the date as stated

in the offer letter.

4. PERSONALITY AND CONDUCT

IIUM aims to produce professionals who practice Islamic teachings sincerely, are God-

fearing and who are equipped with a balanced personality. Hence all students are

required to obey the University regulations and to behave in accordance with Islamic

teachings based on the Quran and Sunnah at all times on or off campus.

Should any student behave otherwise, he or she may be dismissed from the

University.

5. DOCUMENTS

You are requested to bring along all original documents and certificates for

verification by the University authority. No student will be allowed to register without

producing original documents on the Enrolment Day. If the University authority

discovers the use of false declaration or use of forged certificates or documents by any

student for gaining entry to the University, the student concerned will be dismissed

from the University and the University may at its absolute discretion take legal action

against any student guilty of committing forgery or fraud. (Please refer to :

Registration Guidelines No. 2)

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

CONGRATULATIONS for being selected to join the International Islamic University

Malaysia. Please read carefully and follow the instructions given below :-

1. ACCEPTANCE / REJECTION OF OFFER

i. If you accept or reject our offer you are required to reply by filing-in the on-line

form at the following web site:

http://www.iium.edu.my/kemasukan/tawaran.html

Otherwise this offer of admission will automatically be revoked. No further appeal

will be entertained once you have rejected the offer.

ii. Fill in the declaration form and biodata form (to be submitted on the registration day).

2. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING ALONG THE FOLLOWING ORIGINAL

AND CERTIFIED TRUE COPY (1 SET) OF DOCUMENTS/ITEMS ON THE DAY.

i. IIUM Offer Letter

ii. Identity Card / Mykad

iii. Appointment letter (Surat Perlantikan Jawatan)

iv. Confirmation in Current Service (Surat Pengesahan Jawatan Terkini)

v. Certificate / Diploma in Teaching (Sijil/Diploma Perguruan)

vi. SPM Certificate

vii. Birth Certificate

viii. related receipts / documents / copy of bank-in slip as proof of your

payment of entrance fees (RM200.00)

ix. 2 passport-size photographs with your name, Matric No. and offered programme

be written at the back of every photograph.

3. MEDICAL CHECK-UP AND X-RAY

All PPG students are required to submit their completed medical check-up and X-Ray

reports done at any Government Hospitals on registration day.

4. ACCOMMODATION

PPG students may request for accommodation on campus subject to availability of

the rooms. The arrangement for the rooms can be done on the registration day.

5. ATTIRE ON THE REGISTRATION DAY AND TA’ARUF WEEK

Being an Islamic institution, the University expects its students to adhere to the University

dress-code for both Muslim and non-Muslim students. Non- Muslim students are required to

dress with due respect to the Islamic environment of the University. Female students must

cover their aurah and avoid transparent and tight-fitting clothes.

In short, all students should wear decent clothes and NO jeans are allowed. For male

students, your hair must be kept neat and short. Please bring your long-sleeve shirts and

slacks (at least 2 pairs) as it will be used throughout the Ta'aruf programme. Those

who refuse to comply with the University’s rules and regulations will not be allowed to

register.
