Australia China Aged Care Consortium
The Australia China Aged Care Consortium was initiated by the City of Charles Sturt, in
recognition of the strong cluster of health and aged care businesses operating in Adelaide’s
western suburbs, and the potential to work together to secure contracts for major projects
in China. It consists of over 30 companies.
The Consortium is supported by the State Government and offers services and products to
major projects in China.
The Consortium provides a vertically integrated package of services, advice and products for
new and existing aged care and health developments. In particular, it offers skills and

Health Industries South Australia
Health Industries South Australia is a government agency reporting directly to the Minister
for Health and Health Industries. It provides a single point of contact for industry partners
and investors, from China and the rest of the world.
We provide help accessing financial incentives, meeting with decision-makers, and guiding
you through regulation.
The South Australian Government has identified the health industries and aged care as key
economic growth sectors.
Following the 30 year relationship between the two jurisdictions, Shandong Province is
South Australia’s preferred region for the development of health sector partnerships.
In particular, we see many mutually beneficial opportunities in the aged care sector. Over
the last 50 years, government and business in South Australia have been committed to
delivering solutions to the needs of the aged care sector. Shandong Province’s huge
