Adam Moskowitz is a partner at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, and manages the Firm’s Class Action Practice. Adam has been the adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law teaching class action litigation for twenty years and was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Duke University Class Action Program.

Adam has served as lead counsel in some of the largest national class action cases in Florida. Adam was awarded the “Most Effective Lawyer Award” from the American Legal Publication for his work in prosecuting 24 nationwide class actions against the largest banks and insurers regarding force placed insurance, producing over $4.1 billion dollars in relief for the more than 5 million class members nationwide. Adam has been appointed Co-Lead counsel in numerous other federal class actions, including resolving one of the nation’s largest consumer class actions, LiPuma vs. American Express; serving as Co-Lead counsel in various securities class actions, including Lancer Partners litigation; and representing certified classes of consumers nationwide in cases ranging from managed care insurance, to electronic health records to various life insurance products. Adam has also served as Co-Lead Counsel in various antitrust class actions and has conducted numerous jury trials, obtaining one of the largest jury verdicts in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.

Adam’s practice also encompasses complex commercial litigation matters, including securities fraud actions. Adam has served as chairperson in numerous NASD securities arbitrations, and actively participates in local and national seminars and panels, and has published numerous articles on class action and securities litigation.
