Dr. D Y Patil School of Engg & Technology in association with Ajeenkya D Y Patil

University, Lohegaon, Pune established the “ ” inspired by thoughts & work of Dr.

A P J Abdul Kalam for helping financially hard-pressed kids. The main purpose of “

” is to support orphan kids by providing educational equipment’s, kit etc.

On 26th

Jan 2016 “ ” group visited Zilha Parishad Primary School,

Harantalewasti, Lohegaon, Pune.In Zilha Parishad Primary School, the 80% students are the orphan

kids whereas remaining students are from the Below poverty line families.

The visit was organized with prior permission & guidance of Hon. Shree Pravin Patil (CAO

ADYPU), Hon. Shree Anil Jahir (PRO ADYPU), Hon. Dr. Ashok Kasnale (Principal DYPSOET)

and respected all HOD’s (DYPSOET).

46 volunteers of “ ” along with faculty members Prof. Bhagyashree

Dhakulkar, Prof. Shridhar Patil, Prof. Nanasaheb Pawar, Prof.Rajesh Halke, Prof. Sujata Shankar,

Prof. Rajabhau Thombare, Prof.Vivek Dhoke, Prof. Sachin Rahinj, Prof.Gaurav Vispute,

Prof.Dipak Ugale, Prof.Kaveri Sonawane, Prof.Vidya,Prof. Sharadchandra Patil and Prof Dilip

Ghule participated in the activity which started at 10:00 am & concluded at 12:30 noon.
