2. National Level Kick Boxing Tournament 2019 - Master Dhammaratna Kamble of class-IX represented the school in National Level Kick Boxing Tournament conducted from 07 Apr to 14 Apr 2019 at Amritsar (Punjab). He got Bronze Medal in the National Competition.

3. APS Saugor News Letter – APS Saugor started ‘APS Saugor Newsletter’ depicting school activities. The first edition of the newsletter published in Mar 2019. The newsletter will be published monthly and a copy of newsletter will be circulated to all students. A copy of the first edition of newsletter Mar 2019 is enclosed.

4. Counselling Session – A career counselling has been conducted in the school on 08 Apr 2019 Students of class XI have been counselled by the school counselor – Mrs Sonal Jaisekhar. Students have been apprised about various subject streams + 2 level.

1. APS Saugor will remain close on account of summer vacations from 01 May to 19 Jun 2019, however, during summer vacations the following academic activities are being conducted in the school from 01 May to 15 May between 0700 h to 1030 h :-

ACTIVITIES : MAY 2019

1. Summer Vacations- The school will remain close for 50 days on account of Summer Vacation from 01 May to 19 Jun 2019. 2. Inservice Training of Teachers - Inservice Training of Teachers was conducted in the school from 01 May to 10 May 2019. All teachers attended the workshop. It has been an in house training programme, teachers delivered lectures on different topics during brainstorming session. The following topic have been covered in the workshop :- (a) Safety of children and POCSO Act 1992 (b) Digicampus (c) Techniocal Aided Learning (d) Lesson Plan (e) Holistic Personality Development (f) National Curriculam Framwork & Right to Education (g) Development of Communicative Skills (h) Effectie parenting

Lecture by – Mr Dharmesh Bhai Patel Closing Ceremony session by the Principal 3. Summer Camp - Summer Camp conducted in the school from 01 May to 15 May 2019. Various sports (Indoor & Outdoor) and co-curricular activities have been organised under guidance of teachers in the school. At the end of the camp all participants were awarded participation certificates by the undersigned.

Martial Arts Training Craft Activity 4. Extra Classes & Competitive Exams Preparation - Extra classes for class X & XII students have been conducted from 01 May to 10 May 2019. Moreover, Competitive Exams classes for preparation of exams- JEE, NDA & NEET have also been conducted during the entire month. 5. CBSE Board Results – Class XII and X results have been declared by CBSE. On 02 & 06 May respectively. Summary of result is as under :-

6. National Kudo Tournament- 16 students participated in National Kudo Tournament conducted at Khandala (Maharashra) from 05 May to 11 May 2019, out of which 09 got Medal (04 Gold, 03 Silver & 02 Bronze) in National Level Competition. .

Payment of Service Gratuity- Mrs Rajni Garg, PRT retired from the school on 30 May 2019 . She was appointed as PRT on 07 Aug 1998 . She completed 21 ½ years continuous service as regular PRT in the school. She was paid Service Gratuity. As per AWES Rules & Regulations, she was given a cheque of Rs 6,52,480/- (Rupees six lac fifty two thousand four hundred eighty only) on account of Service Gratuity on 09 May 2019.

8. Interviews for selection of Non-Teaching Staff on Contractual/Temporary basis and selection of Group ‘D’ employees on Daily Wages have been conducted through Local Selection Board (LSB). Selection process has been completed in the following phases :-

1. In compliance to the instructions of CBSE, New Delhi, an International Day of Yoga was observed in the school ground with enthusiasm on 21 Jun 2019 from 0700 h to 0900 h. The participants have perfomed various Yogic Asaans underguidance of Yoga Instructor Dr Ravi Kant Khare. 2. The following have participated in an ‘International Day of Yoga’

(a) Col RD Singh, CO, 11 MP Bttalion NCC.

(b) 300 (Boys) NCC Cadets of 11 MP NCC Battalian, including ANOs.

(c) 150 (Girls) NCC Cadets of 11 MP NCC Battalian, including ANOs.

(d) 1380 students and 56 teachers of APS Saugor.

1. Competative Examinations classes – Coaching classes for preparation of NEET and JEE Examinations were conducted during summer vacations. 2. NCC Camp- 4 Girls NCC cadets attended NCC camp at 108 Infantry TA Battalion Sauggor from 06 Jun to 15 Jun 2019 conducted by 7 MP Girls Battalion.

3. Investiture Ceremony- Investiture Ceremony of Students Cabinet for the academic session- 2019-20 has been conducted on 03 Jul 2019. Selection of cabinet members was carried out through voting by students (IX-XII) and teachers. All cabinet members took the oath of office. Cabinate members and monitors have been badges for their respective posts.

4. NCC Activities – NCC Activity of Jul 2019 :-

(a) Quiz on ‘Pollution Awareness’ was conducted by 7 MP Girls Battalion NCC on 04 Jul 2019. 12 Girls NCC Cadets (JW) of the school participated in the quiz competition.

(b) NCC ANO, S/O Dharmesh Bhai Patel (PGT-CS/IP) and 03 NCC cadets attended Combined Annual Training Camp from 05 Jul to 14 Jul 2019 conducted by 3 MP Signal Company NCC at Village –Bartuma.

8. Felicitation of students by Newspaper Patrika Group – Meritorious students of Class X & XII who scored more than 75 marks in CBSE Board Exam 2019 have been felicitated by Newspaper Patrika Group. 9. Kargil Diwas – Victory was achieved by Indian Army at Kargil 20 years ago. To inculcate a spirit of nationalism in the students, ‘Kargil Diwas’ has been celebrated in the school 27 Jul 2019. The following activities have been conducted in the school to observe ‘Kargil Diwas’ :-

(a) A special assembly has been conducted by senior students during morning Assembly. Students delivered lecture on the subject.

(b) A seminar has been organized in the school auditorium on the occasion of ‘Kargil Diwas’. Maj BK Dash and Capt DS Osho of 7 Madras addressed the students and motivated them about - ‘How to join Indian Army’ . All three ANOs of NCC (Mr Dharmesh Bhai Patel, Mr Bharat Shrivastava & Mrs Sneha Majumdar) 150 NCC cadets and students from classes IX to XII participated in the seminar.
