Supporting Our Students and Families at Home

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The science program your child has been using in school is called IQWST® (Investigating and Questioning the World through Science and Technology). IQWST is an investigation-centered curriculum involving hands-on activities and classroom discussion. We have provided your teacher with resources to support continued learning at home.

Your child’s teacher will assign lessons during your school’s closure or your child’s absence. You will need the print Student Edition (SE) or online access to the digital SE (instructions below) to complete assigned readings and worksheets. You may also receive materials and instructions to conduct simple activities at home.

Students can access the digital SE from any device with a web browser. o For PCs, Chromebooks, and Android devices, we recommend

using Chrome as the browsero For Macs and iOS devices, we recommend using Safari as the

browsero NOTE: The SE is not accessible using Internet Explorer as the

PLEASE NOTE: if your school is using the Interactive Digital Edition (IDE) of IQWST, you will receive a separate URL and Password from your teacher.

1. From Digital Resources Login page, select IQWST 3.0 Student Portal.

2. Enter your Password on the Login screen.

3. Next, select the IQWST Unit you are working on. If you are unsure, contact your teacher.

4. A menu of available resources will appear on the left side of the screen including Full PDF of the Student Edition (English and Spanish) Videos to support the lessons
