"We served at the Community Foodand Outreach Center on Michigan."

"What an opportunity to serve! We arrived at theFood Bank not knowing what to expect or what wemight be doing. After a warm greeting and athank you for coming we went to the grocery andthrift store areas where we could be helpful. TheClay Coward family also joined us that morning toserve. We all enjoyed the time of service andsince they are always looking for help, we reallyencourage others to volunteer! Lou and Anita Williams (members of the Forum class) "I served at Bicycle Blessings along with

40 other wonderful people.Riding a bicycle has always been one of myfavorite things to do, so when asked to choose aservice project during the recent Faith in Actionweekend, Bicycle Blessings seemed a good fit. Iwanted to be a part of a group providing thisopportunity to kids who had never owned theirown bicycle and adults who needed it as a majorform of transportation to/from work. So, I showedup early Saturday morning, wrench set in hand, ready to get my first hands-on experience, andohh what fun I had: got to work in triage - as testrider, repair - as assistant, and wash central -shining the newly ready bikes for distribution! Thanks, Bicycle Blessings for giving me such a wonderful chance to serve others while beingblessed in the process!!!" Carol Holloway (member of the Joy class)
