Acknowledgement of Country
Art Month Sydney acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which our festival reaches. We recognise their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging and extend this respect to all First Nations people.
Sovereignty has never been ceded and we value the continued strength and resilience of Indigenous peoples in this land.
For 12 years, Art Month Sydney has sought to spotlight our city’s thriving arts scene. Despite the challenges of the past year, artists have continued to create, exhibitions have continued to go on show (both online and IRL) and art enthusiasts have continued to engage in whatever way they can. This March, we celebrate their resilience and welcome new and familiar faces to join us at the galleries across a rich and diverse program.
Welcome
Emma O’Neill Festival Director
